We are in Sevastopal, Ukraine

Sorry for the delay, it took us a while to find an internet connection. Once we did it still took a while to figure out how to log onto the site since it is all in Russian. Candace is struggling to remember everything. Now let's get down to business.

First and foremost, thank you for your prayers and all of your comments. We really enjoy reading them and it helps us to know that you are thinking of us. Our train ride to Sevastopal was long and cramped but well worth it. We were glad to get off of the train after being on it for 17 hours and to see the beautiful sea-side city of Sevastopal. After securing an apartment, we drove to the orphanage to meet our future child. There are still obstacles for us to overcome, but should be able to give more information in our next blog. We covet your prayers for our child and for the adoption. Hope to update again real soon.

Love, Dave and Candace

We're so happy you are in Sevastopal safe and sound. We are in prayer for your meeting with this child. May all obstacles be removed if this is God's will for your family. The boys are great and say "Hi". The dogs are another story. They truly are in mourning and can't wait for you to come home! We love you so and can't wait for this story to fully unfold. Love, Mom and Dad Crowder

I can't believe 2 people beat me to the Birthday wishes! Geez. Anyway, I hope all is going well and that you're finding a lot of comfort knowing there are so many people thinking about you. Take your time in finding our new little Steyn. It's a huge honor to be a part of our family! :) You get to hand pick which child you want and I'm sure you'll weigh all of the options and will make the right decision. Happy Birthday! and we hope to hear from you and see you soon!

Love, Mandy & Nathan

Thinking of you! As the events unfold I pray that you will have a clear sense of divine peace. That your hearts will remain full of thanksgiving despite obstacles, and that God's directions and leadings will be clearly discerned. In the end, His plan will prevail.
